Elena Torres, a senior at Loveland High, finished fifth in the Class 5A girls final by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 17:57.9 at the Colorado High School Activities Association Cross Country Championships at Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs. Torres helped Loveland place ninth with 252 points.
